HONOREES:
Salman Rushdie will receive the PEN/Allen Foundation Literary Service Award in celebration of the 10th anniversary of his founding of the PEN World Voices Festival; introduction by Toni Morrison
 

Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, will receive the inaugural PEN/Toni and James C. Goodale Digital Freedom Award for bringing new forms of expression to hundreds of millions worldwide
 

Ilham Tohti, Uyghur economist and writer, will recieve the PEN/Barbara Goldsmith Freedom to Write Award which is awarded to a currently imprisoned writer each year at the Gala
