This Festival has taken me to places where I have never been. And I am not talking about intellectually. This festival has taken me to swanky parts of Manhattan where the likes of me seldom tread. Trekking across 5th Avenue sort of skeeves me out. There is nothing more disconcerting that passing blocks and blocks of stores displaying dresses you could neither afford, nor fit. But I digress.

It was well worth the gauntlet-run to make it to The French Institute, more specifically Le Skyroom! Such a lovely calming space. (Such a funny name. Makes me think of Le...
