Dan Bellm is the author the poetry collections One Hand on the Wheel and Buried Treasure, which won the Poetry Society of America's Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award in 1995, as well as Cleveland State University Press's Poetry Center Prize. His poems have appeared in POETRY, The Threepenny Review, Ploughshares, TriQuarterly and other magazines, and his translations of fiction and poetry from Spanish have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.
Bellm has been awarded the 1998 Caesura Prize, judged by Mark Doty, a 1997 poetry fellowship in from the California Arts Council, and has been nominated for a 1999 Pushcart Prize. He will appear in the forthcoming gay American poetry anthology Word Of Mouth, edited by Timothy Liu.
