Krishna Winston

TRANSLATES: German

Having inherited a passion for translation from my parents, Richard and Clara Winston, I have been translating since my graduate school days at Yale and have been fortunate to teach at Wesleyan University, where translation is recognized as a form of scholarship. I have been honored to receive the Schlegel-Tieck translation prize twice and the Helen and Kurt Wolff Prize, and have had the pleasure of serving on the jury for the Wolff Prize since 2002.
