Nancy Festinger

Nancy Festinger Nancy Festinger, a native New Yorker, has translated poetry, fiction and nonfiction from French, Spanish and modern Provencal. She graduated from Hampshire College in 1976, where she combined an interest in Romance languages with creative writing. She has been a member of ALTA since 1979. Long associated with the federal courts as a U.S. certified Spanish interpreter, for the past 13 years she has been Chief Interpreter of the Manhattan federal court, supervising the interpreting department.
