TRANSLATES: Italian
Alastair McEwen has translated over 60 books of fiction and nonfiction, seven feature film scripts, radio play adaptations, operatic librettos, and a great number of articles for a variety of magazines and newspapers. For the last three years he has also been translating Umberto Eco’s twice-monthly feature column “La Bustina di Minerva” for the New York Times Syndication Service. McEwen also writes occasional articles in both Italian and English for major newspapers.
