We have some additional information about our upcoming event on September 5th, and our guest Huang Xiang.
A new book, entitled A Lifetime is a Promise to Keep: Poems of Huang Xiang is being published in September by China Research Monographs. The translator is Michelle Yeh, Professor of East Asian Languages at the University of California at Davis. A leading scholar of modern Chinese poetry, she has edited and translated many works, including The Anthology of Modern Chinese Poetry and Modern Chinese Poetry: Theory and Practice. | | | |
