Dave Eggers and Valentino
Posted By: Jane Ciabattari

I wish I could be in two places at once this week,. I'm going to miss Dave Eggers and Valentino Deng on Friday, but I know it will be a good program, because I saw the two of them at the National Book Critics Circle awards reading and awards ceremony (Eggers' novel What Is the What, based in part on Deng's life, was a finalist in fiction this year). The two combine warmth for each other and, well, a sense of play. And shyness. I hope there is a podcast I can watch later.
