Rachel Donadio is a writer and editor at the New York Times Book Review, where she writes a regular column on literary culture and intellectual life. Before joining the Book Review in 2004, she covered culture and politics at The New York Observer, The New York Sun, The Forward, and The International Herald Tribune's Italy Daily. A graduate of Yale University, she has also worked as a translator. She lives in Brooklyn.
