Markus Zusak is the award-winning author of four books for young
adults: The Underdog; Fighting Ruben Wolfe; Getting the Girl; and I Am
the Messenger, which won a Printz Honor for excellence in young
adult literature.
His most recent book is The Book Thief, which won the 2007 Book Sense Book of the Year Award for Children's Literature.
Zusak lives in Sydney.
