Shirley Hazzard is the author of four novels including The Transit of Venus, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award, and The Great Fire, which won the National Book Award, was short-listed for the Orange Prize for Fiction, and long-listed for the Man Booker Prize.
She is also the author of Greene on Capri: A Memoir, among other books.
