Alexandre Najjar has written eight books. Two of his novels have been translated into English: The Silence of My Father and The School of War. He is the winner of the Prix Méditerranée and the French Academy Prize.
He is also a lawyer and the director of the French magazine, L’Orient littéraire, published monthly in Beirut.
