Joshua Beckman is a poet and translator who lives in Seattle and New York.
He is the author of seven books, including Take It, Shakeand two co-authored books with Matthew Rohrer, Adventures While Preachin' the Gospel of Beauty and Nice Hat. He is a translator of poetry and prose, including 5 Meters of Poems by Carlos Oquendo de Amat and Poker by Tomaz Salamun.
A finalist for the PEN American Poetry in Translation Award, Beckman is the recipient of numerous awards, notably a NYFA fellowship and a Pushcart Prize. He is an editor at Wave Books.
