Richard Allen Appleby
I was born in 1954 and have been in and out of jail since I was thirteen years old. I try to write each day to sometimes vent my rage, sometimes explain things as I see them. I’m from Northern California, where the prison population is larger than most. I feel the Three Strike Law is the cause of my rage. I write. Writing allows me a safer way to relieve my tensions. I’ve been in prison now since 1995. Those I wrote to earlier are disappearing quite rapidly in the last few years. May they R.I.P.
