Sora Kim-Russell
Sora Kim-Russell is a biracial Korean-American from California now teaching translation at the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, Ewha Womans University, in Seoul.

After finishing her MA in East Asian Studies at Stanford University, she moved to Seoul and began working as an editor and translator. Her literature translations have been published in Azalea: Journal of Korean Literature & Culture, New Writing from Korea, and Koreana: a Quarterly on Korean Art & Culture. She also recently translated A Journey in Search of Korea’s Beauty, a travelogue by the actor Bae Yong-joon.

Her translation of Pyun Hye-young’s short story “O. Cuniculi” is forthcoming in Words Without Borders, and she contributes to the Korean literature blog Subject Object Verb.
