Eric Bogosian wrote and starred in the play, Talk Radio (2007). For this work he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and the Tony award. For the film adaptation, he received the Berlin Film Festival "Silver Bear". He also created and performed in six solo performances off-Broadway between 1980 and 2000, for which he received three Obie awards.
In addition, Bogosian has written a number of full-length plays including subUrbia (LCT, Second Stage, also adapted as a film), Griller (Goodman), Red Angel (Williamstown Theater Festival), Humpty Dumpty (McCarter), and 1+1 (NYS&F). He is the author of two novels, Mall and Wasted Beauty and a novella, Notes from Underground.
As an actor, Bogosian has appeared in numerous films and television programs, starring in Robert Altman’s The Caine Mutiny Court Martial, Oliver Stone’s Talk Radio, Under Siege II, Wonderland and as a continuing character on “Law & Order: CI.”
His latest novel is Perforated Heart, published by Simon & Schuster.
