Adam Gopnik is a writer, essayist, and commentator who is frequently published in The New Yorker. A series of his essays for The New Yorker were collected and published as Paris to the Moon. In 2005, his children’s novel The King in the Window was published. His most recent book is Through the Children's Gate: A Home in New York.
He has been honored with three National Magazine Awards for Essay and Criticism and a George Polk Award for magazine writing.
Gopnik was a participant in the 2007 and 2005 PEN World Voices Festivals.
