Drake Stutesman
Drake Stutesman writes fiction and nonfiction and is an editor.

She has edited Framework: The Journal of Cinema and Media since 2000. Her essays and encyclopedia entries have been published by the Museum of Modern Art, the British Film Institute, and various journals. Her recent book, Snake, is a cultural history of snakes.

She is currently writing the biography of international milliner/couturier, John Frederics, also known as Mr. John, who often collaborated with the great MGM costume designer Adrian.

She taught Creative Writing in the largest women's prison in Europe, Holloway Prison in London, for three years. She has been on the PEN Prison Writing Program Committee since 2004.
