Paul Holdengräber is Director of LIVE from the NYPL.
Previously, Holdengräber was founder and director of the Institute for Art & Cultures at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). He is a Fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities and serves on the board of the Sun Valley Writers Conference.
In 2003, the French government awarded Holdengräber the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres medal and in 2010 he received the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art.
