I’ve served twenty-nine years on a life term. During these many years, there have been many sorts of personal and certifiable accomplishments which I’ve attained. 27 Years in twelve steps clean and sober, and, of more recent, a college degree from the Prison University Project (www.prisonuniversityproject.org) here at San Quentin that brings a degree program to inmates using zero (0) taxpayer’s money. Many kudos to Jody & Jennifer for what they’re doing right now.
I’ve been writing for over ten years, with three (unpublished) novels as my grueling training in writing. I’ve been a part of a Creative Writing group for four years now that is taught by Zoe Mullery. Our group’s most recent anthology, Brothers in Pen, is available on Amazon.com. I seek to entwine my faith in Christ with stories that represent the hard realities of life.
