Grace Paley
Grace Paley (1922-2007) was born in the Bronx.

Her short fiction has been collected in several volumes, including The Little Disturbances of Man, Enormous Changes at the Last Minute, and Later the Same Day.

She received fellowships and grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Institute of Arts and Letters. She was one of the founders of the Greenwich Village Peace Center in 1961 and served as a trustee of PEN America Center.
