Nam Le
Singing Bowl Media

Nam Le was born in Vietnam and raised in Australia.

His debut collection of short stories, The Boat, was published in 2008, and has been translated into twelve languages.

The Boat
has been awarded the Dylan Thomas Prize, the Pushcart Prize, the Michener-Copernicus Society of America Award, and was a National Book Foundation "5 Under 35" selection. It was also selected as a New York Times Notable Book, New York Magazine's best book debut of 2008, and a book of the year by The Los Angeles Times, The Christian Science Monitor, The Oregonian, The Miami HeraldPublishers Weekly, Library Journal, Amazon, and many other sources around the world.

Le is currently the fiction editor of the Harvard Review.
