Steven Pinker, the Johnstone Family Professor at Harvard, is an
experimental psychologist who writes widely on language, the mind, and
human nature.
He is the author of seven books, including, most
recently, The Stuff of Thought. He has won many prizes for his books, research, and teaching, and has been named “Humanist of the Year” and one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World Today.”
