Xiaolu Guo is a Chinese novelist and filmmaker.
Her recent novels include A Concise Chinese English Dictionary for Lovers (shortlisted for Orange Prize for Fiction and translated into 23 languages) and 20 Fragments of a Ravenous Youth. Her previous novel, Village of Stone,
was nominated for the Dublin IMPAC Literary Award and the Independent
Best Foreign Fiction Prize.
She also directed the award-winning film How Is Your Fish Today (Sundance 2007) and We Went to Wonderland.
