Calvin Baker is the author of three novels: Naming the New World, Once Two Heroes, and Dominion. His
work has since been acclaimed by publications such as Time, Esquire, and The Los
Angeles Times. Dominion was named one of the best books of the year by New York Newsday, and
was a finalist for the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award.
He lives in New York.
