Charles Baxter is the author of five novels, four collections of short stories, three collections of poems, and a
collection of essays. He was nominated for the 2000 National Book Award
for Fiction and is the recipient of the Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and
Letters.
He currently teaches at the University of Minnesota and in the Warren Wilson College MFA Program for Writers.
