Michael Patrick MacDonald
Michael Patrick MacDonald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1966.

A noted anti-violence and social justice activist, he is the author of Easter Rising: A Memoir of Roots and Rebellion. His memoir All Souls: A Family Story from Southie, was awarded the American Book Award, The Myers Outstanding Book Award, among other honors, and will soon be made into a film by Ron Shelton. He is currently writing a book about young people achieving personal and social change.

He lives in Brooklyn.
