Susan Bernofsky is an acclaimed translator and author best known for her translations of the great Swiss modernist author Robert Walser and contemporary German-language fiction and poetry.
She is currently writing two books of her own, a biography of Robert Walser and a novel set in her hometown, New Orleans.
