Edward Hirsch a MacArthur Fellow, was born in Chicago in 1950.
He has published seven books of poems including, For the Sleepwalkers, Wild Gratitude, Special Orders, and, most recently, The Living Fire: New and Selected Poems. He has also written four prose books, including Poet’s Choice.
