Becka Mara McKay has graduate degrees in creative writing from the University of Washington and in translation from the University of Iowa, where she is currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature.
Her work has appeared in ACM, American Letters & Commentary, Columbia, Controlled Burn, Cranky, The Iowa Review, Third Coast, Rattapallax, small spiral notebook, TWO LINES, Words Without Borders, and Zeek, among others. She has received an ALTA fellowship and a Pushcart nomination.
Her translation, from the Hebrew, of the novel Laundry will be published by Autumn Hill Books in 2008.
