Rainer Maria Rilke
Rainer Maria Rilke was born in Prague in 1875 and is considered one of the German language's greatest poets, as well as one of this century’s masters of verse.

Among his many works are Sonnets to Orpheus, the Dunio Elegies, Letters to a Young Poet, and The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge. He died in 1926.
