Paul Krugman was born in Albany, New York in 1953.
He was awarded the 2008 Nobel Prize in Economics. Krugman is a columnist for The New York Times, a frequent contributor to The New York Review of Books, and Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton.
He is the author of, most recently, The Return of Depression Economics and the Crisis of 2008 and The Conscience of A Liberal.
