Joshua Wolf Shenk is the author of Lincoln’s Melancholy, a New York Times Notable Book and a best book of the year by The Washington Post and the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. His essays have appeared in Harper’s Magazine, The Atlantic, The New Yorker and other publications.
Shenk’s current project, a book-length essay on collaboration and creativity, will be published by Penguin Press.
Shenk has served four years as vice-chairman of the board of Stories at the Moth, directed the Rose O’Neill Literary House at Washington College, and has taught at New York University and the New School.
