Deborah Treisman became Fiction Editor of The New Yorker in January, 2003, after having joined as Deputy Fiction Editor in December, 1997.
Previously, she was the managing editor of Grand Street, and has been a member of the editorial staffs of The New York Review of Books, Harper’s, and The Threepenny Review.
Her translations have appeared in The New Yorker, The Nation, Harper’s, and Grand Street.
