Domenico Starnone
Domenico Starnone was born in Naples in 1943.
He is the author of eight novels, including
First Execution
and numerous books of nonfiction.
In 2001 he was the recipient of Italy’s most prestigious literary prize, the Strega.
He now lives in Rome.
