Said Sayrafiezadeh
Karen Mainent
Saïd Sayrafiezadeh was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1968 and grew up in Pittsburgh.

He is a writer of plays, essays, and fiction. His writing has appeared in The Paris Review, Granta, Open City, and elsewhere.

His first book, the memoir When Skateboards Will Be Free, was published in March 2009.
