Anne Waldman is an internationally known poet, performer, professor, and editor, with strong personal links to the New York School, the Beat Literary Movement, and the experimental strands of the New American Poetry.
She is a Distinguished Professor of Poetics at The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, a program she co-founded with poet Allen Ginsberg in 1974.
She is the author of more than 30 books including, most recently, Outrider: Essays, Interviews, Poetry; The Structure of the World Compared to a Bubble; Vow to Poetry: Essays, Interviews & Manifestos; Marriage: A Sentence; Fast Speaking Woman; Iovis: All Is Full of Jove: Books I & II; and Kill or Cure.
