Paradise Banned: Poetry Readings from Banned Books

Join PEN American Center and the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression for readings in celebration of PEN’s Banned Books Month and the poets whose work have been banned throughout history. Hear banned and censored poems by Allen Ginsberg, Walt Whitman, Marina Tsvetaeva, Frank O’Hara, Daniil Kharms, Sappho, and many more, as read by some of today’s best contemporary poets, including Timothy Donnelly, Deborah Landau, Alex Dimitrov, Monica Ferrell, Matvei Yankelevich, Claire Donato, Aimee Herman, Phil Fried, Ana Bozicevic, and others.
