Debra Winger
Debra Winger Debra Winger was born in Ohio in 1955.

Her roles in the movies Shadowlands, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Terms of Endearment all garnered Winger Academy Award nominations. Winger also received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in A Dangerous Woman. After a six-year hiatus spent appearing on stage at the American Repertory Theatre, touring with Michael Tilson-Thomas and the New World Symphony, and a fellowship at Harvard University in 2001, she returned to produce and co-star in Big Bad Love, which was written and directed by Arliss Howard.

Most recently she has appeared in Sometimes in April, an HBO film about the genocide in Rwanda, and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Dawn Anna, a film based on a true story.
