Janet Poole
Janet Poole Janet Poole teaches Korean literature in the Department of East Asian Studies at New York University. She graduated from Columbia University with a dissertation on modernism in late colonial Korea. She is also a published literary translator and is currently completing a translation of a collection of essays and short stories written by the modernist aesthete Yi T’aejun in the early 1940s.
