HEALTH CARE INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS OF PEN

PEN American Center Members have access to two different group insurance plans. Both options require that a subscriber be self-employed, filing tax returns as a sole proprietor or as owner of a small-business entity. Tax returns must be submitted with the application.
The Entertainment Industry Group Insurance Trust (TEIGIT) offers health care insurance to PEN Members in New York State through Oxford Health Plans and GHI; New Jersey, Connecticut and the Greater Chicago area through CIGNA. TEIGIT also offers individual insurance to PEN Members in Texas, Arizona, and Virginia.
TEIGIT also offers CIGNA HMO dental insurance, available in most parts of the country as well as long-term care insurance, international health and travel insurance, and disability.
