RSS FEEDS

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for regularly sharing and distributing all kinds of online media. Much like news tickers, RSS "feeds" distribute syndicated content online. You can subscribe to PEN RSS feeds to receive regular updates of news, announcements, calls for action, breaking news, audio recordings, and new readings available on PEN.org.

How do I use RSS?

Many web browsers feature built-in RSS readers so that your latest feeds will be available whenever you launch your browser. If your browser supports RSS, click on the content areas you're interested in subscribing to, and follow the instructions to add to your news reader or your personal My Yahoo! or My AOL page.

Some web sites, such as My Yahoo! and Google, allow users to add RSS feeds to a customized homepage layout which automatically displays your latest feeds whenever you visit. Choose one of the links on the right and follow the instructions to add PEN RSS feeds.
