About the journal: In 2000, PEN America was named one of the Ten Best New Magazines by Library Journal. Work from recent issues has been selected for Best American Essays and the Pushcart Prize. Past contributors include Paul Auster, Michael Cunningham, Nikki Giovanni, Marilynne Robinson, Salman Rushdie, Susan Sontag, John Edgar Wideman, and many others.
Circulation: Roughly 4,000. PEN America is distributed to PEN members -- more than 3,000 professional authors, editors, agents, and publishers -- and associate members as well as to libraries and other subscribers. It is also sold at PEN events year-round and promoted on the PEN website, and it is distributed to bookstores throughout the United States and Canada.

Ad Specifications: Ads comprising only text, line art, and continuous-tone graphics may be submitted as camera-ready copy. For optimal reproduction, all others should be supplied as a film negative or on disk. Electronic submissions may be supplied on either PC or Mac media (or as e-mail, with our prior approval), as PDF (preferred), EPS, or TIFF (300 dpi). PDF and EPS files must contain only PostScript Type 1 fonts (no TrueType); please embed all fonts and do not downsample images below 300 dpi. No color; 150 line screen.
Every ad, no matter how it is supplied, must include borders on all four sides.
