Nancy Huston has written nine novels and numerous works of nonfiction.
Her first novel, Les Variations Goldberg, was awarded the Prix Contrepoint and was shortlisted for the Prix Fémina. In 1994, she went on to win the Prix “L” and the Prix Louis Hémon for La Vireolte, which was published in English in 1996 as Slow Emergencies. Her most recent novel, Instruments des ténèbres, was shortlisted for the Prix Goncourt, the Prix Fémina, and the Governor General’s Award and won the Prix Goncourt Lycéens. |
