Lois Lowry
Lois Lowry

Lois Lowry is the author of more than 30 books for young adults, including those in the popular Anastasia Krupnik series.

 

Her honors include the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award, the California Young Reader’s Medal, and the Mark Twain Award. She has received the Newbery Medal twice, for the novels Number the Stars and The Giver.

Lowry divides her time between Boston and New Hampshire.
