Niloufar Talebi
Niloufar Talebi was born in London and lived in Iran intermittently until the age of 15. 

Talebi is an MFA candidate in Writing and Literature at Bennington College. She created The Translation Project in 2002 and she is currently editing and translating into English an anthology of contemporary Iranian poetry in diaspora since 1979. In addition, she is creating a DVD of this poetry presented in collaborative performance.

She is the recipient of the International Center for Writing and Translation's (ICWT) 2004-2005 translation award as well as grants from The Christensen Fund.
