Just published "From Mexico to Miramar or, Across the Lake of Oblivion," an essay about a visit to the Emperor of Mexico's castle in Trieste, Italy, in the Massachusetts Review. Mexico: A Traveler's Literary Companion nominated on Planeta.com as one of the best Mexico travel books of 2006.
