A novel about a very elderly couple in which the man is on trial for murder/s. Also a novel about Quantum Mechanics.

Don't have one but am working to remedy that.

What was the best literary event you attended this year? I try to avoid literary events.
What was the most important literary news this year?
The fact that the Turkish court found Orhan Pamuk not guilty for something that never should have been brought to trial.
What do you value most about your Membership to PEN?
The almost mystical and mythological connection I have to other writers.

Yes.
What literary topics would you would like to see discussed by PEN Members in an online forum?
Whatever happened to writers such as Thom Jones, Peter Hoeg, Gustaw Herling, and the amazing young Russian woman writer whose name I have forgotten who won an International writing contest 5 or 6 years ago with an a brilliant piece called "The Dictionary of the Wind," or something close to that.
