Subimal Misra (1943-, lives in Calcutta, India) has been writing in Bengali for almost 40 years now, and is regarded as the foremost anti-establishment and experimental writer in the Bengali language. None of his work has been translated into English (or any other language). The book mentioned (in Bengali) brings together his short stories written in 1967-79.
