 Owner of the Mongolian Academic Bookstore and founder and editor-in-chief of underground journal The Voice of Southern Mongolia, arrested December 10, 1995 and sentenced to 15 years in prison and four years’ deprivation of political rights for “inciting separatism and espionage” on December 6, 1996. Hada was released from No. 4 Prison of Inner Mongolia in Chi Feng (Ulaan-Hada) City on December 10, 2010, but was immediately shuttled to house arrest at an unknown location. There are concerns for his well-being. |
